Accompanied by God's Love (AGL, Inc.), believes that every child deserves a permanent, loving family. AGL does not charge families any fees for adoption services.

Adoptive families may be responsible for certain costs associated with the legal finalization of an adoption. However, children who qualify for Adoption Assistance may be eligible for reimbursement of approved non-recurring adoption expenses.

Families adopting a child with special needs may qualify for reimbursement when:

​

• The child is placed through the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) or a licensed child-placing agency in Texas; and
   

• An Adoption Assistance Agreement is signed before the adoption is legally finalized.
   

Eligible families may receive reimbursement of up to $1,200 per child for approved non-recurring adoption expenses in accordance with state requirements.
